Methodology
Check Up is where competition becomes permanent, searchable and provable. Here is the proof layer.
Verification
Every official record points to a verified game. Games are OCR-extracted from box-score screenshots, math-verified (points reconcile to made field goals and free throws), and corroborated by witnesses. A record cannot be official without this evidence chain.
Metric Versioning
Calculated metrics are versioned. A formula change never silently recalculates past seasons — each version has an effective date and a recalculation policy.
| Metric | Version | Effective | Min Sample | Recalc |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FIR | v1 | 2026-06-01 | 8 GP | freeze |
Record Eligibility
Official career totals include only real competition: regular, play in, playoff, finals. Exhibitions, all-star, preseason, scrimmages and voided games are excluded by default (they may hold their own record categories). Rate records enforce qualification minimums; percentage records enforce attempt minimums.
Missing Is Not Zero
A recorded 0 and an uncaptured value are never conflated. Missing or unverified data displays as “—”, never as 0, and never ranks ahead of a real result.
Competition Separation
Triple Threat and Ascend records are never mixed in a single raw leaderboard. Cross-competition comparisons use percentiles and accomplishments, not raw per-game figures.
Coverage
Current verified coverage is 95.5% (126/132 games). 4 corrected stat lines and 0 open record disputes. Live-season records remain provisional until final certification.
Take A Copy
The official record book exports as a self-contained snapshot. It carries its own caveats — the coverage behind it, the certification state with reasons, the metric versions in force, and which integrity tests were implemented when it was taken — so a file that outlives this page still says what it is worth. Only records marked Official are included.
Each export includes a content hash covering the records and those facts but not the timestamp, so two exports of unchanged data hash identically and a tampered file does not.
